Oh yeah, this exists.
I’m writing stuff. I’ll be updating. It’s been a long time. My plans:

• Book analyses. I figure I have a lit degree, and the blog is called “A Black Lit Major” so I should probably, like, do stuff with that.
• I really want to talk about videogames.
• I’ve written a lot of nerd poems and a lot in my novel, and I think I just want to talk about that process a lot.
• I’m currently reading Brandon Sanderson’s “The Way of Kings” and I have…complex thoughts about it. I also don’t like that I started the year reading a white dude, so I’m trying to finish the series off really quick so that I can move on and just binge BIPOC authors for the rest of the year.
• I’ve been teaching for 1.5 years, and I know I can’t share specific stories because because of student confidentiality and whatnot, but there I’ve been going through a lot of growing pains. Had a lot of very rewarding interactions and had a lot of rough times that I feel like I need to write through to process.
• But, mostly, I just thought I should actually type something on this blog since I pay for it and haven’t done so in a long time.
